At Studio Pia we've taken a week to step back, pause our marketing, and open our eyes and ears to the #blacklivesmatter movement. This is just the start for us, and as we begin to resume our usual posting, please hear our pledge for the future:
- To continue to listen and learn from a wide range of resources, sharing books and recommendations around our team.
- To ensure Black people and POC are fairly represented across our marketing imagery, as well as behind the scenes, and within our studio team.
- To be an ally in calling-out racism, amplifying black voices, and offering support to new black-owned businesses in our industry wherever possible.
We're in this for systemic and social change, and so encourage others to think about their own personal/company pledges for racial equality.
