For the AW20 collection, Pia drew inspiration from the artistic genre of Kacho-ga and traditional lacquer work, known as Shikki, celebrating Japan’s flora and fauna. Rich colours and striking shapes are paired with exclusive seasonal embroidery, designed in house at Studio Pia’s London studio.
The Kana Longline Suspender is crafted from contrasting panels of sumptuous jet black, cruelty-free silk satin and bespoke embroidered tulle, decorating your body in a shimmering forest of maple trees and intricate Waxwing birds. This piece features structured hidden support panels, bringing together aspects of shapewear with couture-inspired touches to accentuate your curves.
Adjustable silk-wrapped waist straps help create the perfect fit and feature 24k gold plated hardware and clasp fastening. Each suspender is finished with a fishtail-cut ribbon in golden satin, for an added feminine touch.
