The SS21 'Wildflowers' collection is a deeply personal one, connecting wistful childhood memories with the contemporary designer and celebrates new beginnings, the power of Mother Nature and the feeling of freedom that comes with spending time in the great outdoors.

Moodboard

The SS21 collection was designed and developed during the height of the first UK pandemic lockdown and soon after Pia discovered she was pregnant for the first time. Sheltering in place away from her family combined with the excitement of becoming a mother left Pia feeling nostalgic for the long summer days she spent playing in lush gardens of her childhood or the country walks she and her family used to take together, picking wildflowers and completely immersing themselves in nature. 
 
Pia channelled her wistful memories with her excitement for new beginnings to create a collection that perfectly encapsulates the spring/summer season.

The Ranges

Flora 'Flower'



An immersive love letter to mother nature. Evoking balmy greenhouses filled with verdant greenery and fields of vibrant wildflowers, Flora is a playful range that perfectly encapsulates carefree days spent enjoying the great outdoors

Cerelia 'Springtime'

Cerelia was a reimagining of our coveted Adria range from the Debut collection, with a fresh botanical twist. Our signature striking shapes and lush green silk is paired with bespoke embroidery that draws inspiration from Pia's mother's books of botanical illustrations, evoking the feeling of verdant gardens in bloom. 

Aurora 'Dawn'

Inspired by the traditional Broderie Anglaise dresses Pia wore as a child, the Aurora range exudes the fun of the dressing up box. 

The Aurora range is the first Studio Pia range to feature a certified 100% recycled embroidery, with both the tulle base and the embroidery yarns crafted from recycled PET bottles. ⁠⁠Combining ethics with design, the Aurora range truly embodies our mission to create luxury lingerie with a conscience. 

Clea 'Glory'

Channelling her desire for the great outdoors, the soft blue peace silk used for Clea evokes the feeling of clear skies and warm summer days.

Petra 'Rock of Aphrodite' 

Petra was refreshed in our signature scarlet peace silk, channelling Pia's nostalgia for childhood summers spent on country walks, playing in fields of poppies and wildflowers.
